Lawyer and Agency Referrals
We also accept referrals from lawyers and certain community programs located in the Lower Mainland (Abbotsford (in the east) to Horseshoe Bay (in the west), North and West Van (in the north) and the Canada – US border (in the south.)
Lawyers who wish to refer a client to us can call our business line at 604-688-1927. Please first look at information on this website about eligibility and service areas to determine if the referral is appropriate.
We accept direct referrals from agencies through our Legal Aid Direct Referral program (Ladder). If you are interested in the Ladder Program contact us.
Older adults or their friends and family who wish to refer an older adult to the Elder Law Clinic must do so through the Seniors Advocacy and Information Line. More information can be found on our main website.
Agencies and legal clinics/ lawyers who wish to refer a particular client to the Elder Law Clinic but are not sure if the legal problem is one that we can help with can click here to fill out our online inquiry form, and we will let you know within 72 hours.
If you are a lawyer who comes into regular contact with clients who fit in our priority areas, that you are not able to help and would like to refer to us, we may be able to work out a referral arrangement that bypasses the agency online form. Please contact us to discuss this further.
